How are you celebrating Sallah?
Tomorrow, the 27th of September, we join our family and friends in the Eid el Maulud celebrations. It is a day set aside to honour the birth of the Holy Prophet of Islam, Muhammad. Not all muslims celebrate it but it is a public holiday in Nigeria. According to Leadership Newspaper, the Minister of interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, congratulating all Muslims both at home and in the Diaspora for witnessing this year’s occasion.
How will you be celebrating yours? Do you have family or friends with you? Can you make it special? Wishing you the best this Sallah and always!
