Oil Bean Sauce
This amazing Oil Bean Sauce recipe is simple and the dish is absolutely delicious. It is made from a local seed called ‘Ugba’ an is popular in eastern Nigeria
Ingredients
- 5 cups of Oil Bean Seeds(Ugba), sliced
- 200g Goat meat
- 100g Kpomo
- 3 cups of Chicken Stock
- !/2 cup of Palm Oil
- 1 Onion Bulb, sliced
- 3 Chilli Peppers, pounded
- 1 cube Seasoning Cube
- 2 tbsp Corn Flour (optional)
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Season the goat meat, cook until it is soft
- Pour the palm oil into a pot and place on heat
- When it is almost bleached (after 30secs), put the onions into the oil
- Add the pepper and seasoning cube and stir
- Pour the the sliced oil bean seeds and stir fry for about 5mins
- Add the meat stock and the goat meat, stir and cook for another 2mins
- If the sauce is too watery, thicken with corn flour.
- Add salt
