Kebab

Kebab is a dish where meat, vegetables or fruits are on a skewer. It is very appealing and usually very tasty. It is one of the most loved healthy dishes

  • 1/2 cup of diced bell peppers
  • A handful of cherry tomatoes or squared tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of Olives
  • Handful of onions, squared
  • 300g Large diced meat – beef, chicken, fish or turkey
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 seasoning cube
  • 1/2 Scotch bonnet pepper
  • 1 small size onions
  • 1/2 tsp curry spice
  • 1/2 tsp thyme

Directions

  • Put the meat in a bowl
  • Blend the onions, scotch bonnet, curry, thyme and salt together
  • Pour the mixture over the meat and let it marinate for about 2 hours
  • Roast or grill the meat till it is light brown and cooked
  • Set it aside
  • Take the kebab sticks or skewers and stick the meat alternating with the vegetables to make it colourful
