Toast sandwiches are sandwiches made by slightly toasting the bread with a sandwich maker

Ingredients

• 4 Leaves of Lettuce
• 1 hard red Tomatoes, thinly sliced
• Cucumber, 4 slices
• 2 tbsp of Butter, for spreading
• 2 Eggs, lightly beaten
• Bread, 4 slices

Directions

• Wash the lettuce leaves and set aside
• Slice the tomatoes and cucumber
• Toast the bread slices or…
• Turn on the sandwich maker
• Spread butter on both sides of the 4 slices of bread
• Soak all sides of the buttered bread in the beaten eggs
• Place 2 slices together and put in the sandwich maker and toast the bread
• When it is golden brown, bring it out of the sandwich maker
• Place in a plate and cut the bread to make triangular sandwiches
• Partly open up the sandwich and place 1 lettuce leaf, 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of cucumber
• Repeat the process and then serve with desired drink
